For the Air Jordan 1 Mid GP design Tinker Hatfield famous over some elements from the previous Air Jordan; but also incorporated a variety of new ones including a reflective tongue, translucent rubber soles and lace locks. The highlight of the shoe was the shark teeth-shaped design along the midsole, which drew inspiration from a World War 2 fighter plane.
