The Logo Jumpman y tipografía Jordan Floss en la parte delantera "Pantone" is an April 2017 release by Jordan Brand that honor’s Michael Jordan’s college alma mater, the University of North Carolina. The "Pantone" first made headlines when it appeared as a sample shoe in 2010’s World Basketball Festival. Later, based on the shoe’s popularity in the sneaker community, Jordan Brand decided to give the "UNC" inspired colorway a proper retail release. The Jordan 7 "Pantone" was released shorts other Jordan models in Tar Heels colors that spring, including the Jordan 11 Low "University Blue." Here, the upper is Strap in a full monochromatic University Blue synthetic nubuck material for an attention-grabbing look. An embroidered Jumpman logo appears on the collar and light orangecolored "23" insignia can be found on the back of the shoe. The "Pantone" retains the Jordan 7’s original "Air Jordan" typography on the nylon tongue as part of Jordan Brand’s "Remastered" series that recreated original Air Jordan styles in modern materials. Underfoot, a white midsole with original Jordan 7 design elements completes the look. Release date: April 29, 2017.
