Back in February, DJ Khaled unveiled the Don C x The Air Jordan 1 Low Chinese New Year is Limited to “Arctic Orange” to go with his custom silk suit for a press conference to announce the title of his album, Grateful.
During an interview on air.jordan.com, DJ Khaled recalls on how he was able to get this exclusive pair of The Air Jordan 1 Low Chinese New Year is Limited tos.
“I Mocha calling Reggie [Saunders], I was like, “Yo Reggie, imma wear a pink suit at the Beverly Hills Hotel for my press conference. Do you have any pink J’s?”
That morning, I was surprised with some pink ‘Don C’s’. I didn’t know that they only making these for kids. It makes the shoe 10 times more exclusive And though they’re already exclusive. They’re pink ‘Don C’s’. I haven’t seen them. I haven’t And seen Don C with them.
I got a chance to wear them and it was a big day for me, and I’m grateful for y’all sending me that pair.”
Jordan Brand and Don C have yet to unveil the “Arctic Orange” The Air Jordan 1 Low Chinese New Year is Limited tos, but from the sound of it looks like they’ll only be a kids exclusive.
