Las Vegas based sneaker shop Feature is hooking up with ASICS to sneakers their first collaborative project, the Feature x ASICS GEL LYTE 5 Sneaker “Prickly Pear” sneakers.

Using the ASICS GEL LYTE 5 Sneaker as the base, the inspiration behind this sneakers is from Las Vegas’ desert scenery, more specifically, the Prickly Pear Cactus.

The shoe is built with a combination of Tan leather, suede and nubuck to give off that cactus concept. Embossed leather dons the gelventure that represents the caucus’ prickly stems. The traditional ASICS strips are done in a Tan-to-Green gradient design that is complimented with Green speckled laces and heel counter. The shoe is finished with a Gum bottom as a nod to the desert sand, as well as an all-over cactus graphic insoles.
