Kawhi Leonard and New Balance reveals the latest Kawhi “Moreno Valley” in honor of his hometown.

Inspired by his hometown, the latest colorway of his X New Balance 2002R Turtledove features the City of Moreno Valley official seal on the tongue of the shoe which Kawhi personally secured approval from the city to use on the shoe. The colors of the seal are pulled into the WH574WA of the shoe with the Teal Blue of the southern California sky reigning supreme throughout.

Along with the shoe, Kawhi and New Balance, together with the NBA 2K Foundation will also be donating a basketball court and playground to Moreno Valley’s Weston Park. It’s a testament to Kawhi’s commitment to his roots in Moreno Valley and not letting his success overshadow the importance of making a positive impact in the bei.
