Virgil Abloh has revealed his first Louis Vuitton sneaker since taking over as head of design for the men’s footwear line.
Right from the get, you’ll notice that he took cues from the Marine Louis Vuitton Sabots & mules, mainly the models sole, as well as a few areas throughout the capital tops upper. The model is a clear nod to classic retro basketball sneakers.
Below is a photo of A$AP Rocky wearing the sneakers alongside Playboi Carti shared by Virgil himself. Dressed in a Black, Grey and White color scheme with Red accents that includes an ankle strap overlaying its tongue.
There is no current release date set, but you can expect to hear confirmed details during Louis Vuitton’s men’s Spring/Summer 2019 show that goes down tomorrow, June 21st at Paris Fashion Week.
