Air Jordan

Air Jordan

The Air Jordan Light line originated back in 1984 when Michael Jordan Light himself wore them as a rookie. After signing MJ to a $2.5 million (plus royalties), the first product was produced. In 1985 Nike designed Jordan’s first shoe the Air Jordan Light 1. The Air Jordan Light line features a unique logo; our beloved Jumpman. The Jumpman logo was first introduced on the Air Jordan Light 3. The logo has now become iconic being used on both sneakers and apparel. The Air Jordan Light craze began when the NBA originally banned the first pair, due to the lack of white present on the shoe. Michael wore them anyway and the marketing campaign for Nike was set. The brand has yet to slow down it’s Infrared ways, proving that they are still pushing the limits with their Proto, new technologies. More info: Air Jordans / Air Jordan Light Release Dates
